Originally from farm country in Iowa, Dr. Annie Wester earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Iowa State University in 2016. She graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2020 and joined Arvada Eye Care in 2021.
Dr. Wester received several awards for academic and clinical excellence throughout optometry school. She was Vice President of SCO's chapter of Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity. She served on trips to Belize, Haiti, and Ecuador. Dr. Wester is currently active in the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Wester's hobbies include hiking, travel, fitness, and collecting house plants. She lives in Broomfield with her Aussie puppy.
